At Attunga Cottage Outside School Hours Care, we provide fun, safe environments where children can make new friends and build their confidence outside of the classroom, while developing inspired minds and active bodies.
We know how hard it is juggling a 9-3 school day when you work 9 – 5 (or 8 – 6). We get it. You need more time outside of normal school hours. Our before and after school care offers convenient programs that are fun, safe and rewarding for your child.
At Attunga, your child will enjoy access to creative and recreational activities, catered to their unique needs, interests, personalities and abilities because we recognise the benefits of high quality Outside School Hours Care, and the difference it can make in a family’s life.
Each day brings new opportunities for our middle-school aged children to connect, discover and learn something new. Our dedicated, fun educators tailor programs at based on children’s interests, using the My Time Our Place framework.
We use this nationally approved evidence-based framework because it emphasises the benefits of providing children with a broad range of opportunities to participate in a variety of leisure and play-based activities.

We provide a nutritious breakfast each morning at the Attunga Café.
Children have the options of fresh fruit, wholemeal toast, low sugar cereals, yoghurt, cruskits and assorted breakfast options.
Afternoon teas are also served daily, and include seasonal fruits, platters, soups, yoghurts, dips, rice and hot meal options, depending on the season.
Honestly… because it’s a whole lot of fun! We pride ourselves on being a child / family focused service, that’s priority is to ensure that the children are given every opportunity to play, and thrive will they prepare for, or wind down after a big day at school.
Yes, we know it can be confusing but providing care for middle school children is called all of those things by different providers. So no need for confusion. Here are a few acronyms to remember. BASC, OSHC, OOSH.
We acknowledge the traditional owners of this land, the Gweagal, Bidjigal People and Dharug people, and pay respect to elders past present and future, along with all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in the community and their languages.
