Are you looking for a new challenge or feel you are ready to progress towards a leadership role?
Do you want a role where you are supported to reach your potential, and have FUN in the process?
Do you want a role where you are rewarded for the work you put in with our youngest of citizens?
Welcome to Attunga
Attunga Cottage is a small, privately owned children’s service that has provided exceeding quality care to our local community for almost 30 years.
We provide OOSH, Long Day Care and Preschool Services in the Peakhurst area. We have an exceptionally low educator turn over, so positions rarely become available.
We are an extremely collaborative team, and have a strong mentor / guidance support program, with a strong focus on promoting a positive, inclusive and supported working environment for a team, with access to mental health services to enable our team to manage the demands of the role, particularly in light of the recent impacts of the global pandemic.
Therapy Pet Program
We have built upon our successful therapy pet program, and now have a service cat (Nooshie), two service dogs (Willow and Audrey), a rabbit (Mr Grey), chickens and budgies. We also provide regular foster care for orphaned kittens through The Kitten Sanctuary, and regularly have kittens included in our ongoing programs with the children.
We’ve included this information, so that potential applicants can do some quick reflections around how comfortable they are with therapy pets in their work workplace. We ADORE them, and feel they are an integral, almost essential part of the service, however, completely understand that not everyone is comfortable around animals, so feel it important to include this information.
